Computer Problems...

I just typed this really long, heartfelt story about the past week and events that happened and...my computer decided to freak out on me and delete my post...awesome. I guess I better get to typing it all over again. Hopefully I can remember what I said because I'm afraid that it's something that can't be repeated perfectly.

Cheer stress

Well when you try-out for a team full of girls you sort of expect it to be full of drama and of course it is. Well I just have to vent about my cheer crap that happened today.

So today was the Christmas assembly at school and so we have been practicing for it. I got stuck with this girl, who I'm not going to name, that I hate stunting with. The reason? Well if the stunt doesn't go up or if it falls she blames all the problems on everyone else in the group and of course nothing is her fault. Well this year in cheer I haven't really stunted because I'm not doing competition so I'm a little rusty. Well I was having some problems stunting in practice and I just knew she was talking bad about me to her friends. So of course I hate that and so I work hard to make it work and it does so she was happy with me for as long as "I" messed up the next stunt. I don't think I'm the only one in my stunt group that feels that way. I sure hope I'm not the only one that feels that way because our backspot talks to her friend about the group and it sounds like the girl I don't like stunting with.

Another thing that happened today in the assembly was the fact of embarrassment. So we didn't do the school song in this assembly, which was weird. But I wish we did because it would have taken up more time and I just knew I wouldn't mess up this time because I was ready. Well the band played a lovely song and I'm glad they got to show their skill. Well while they were playing, one of the girls on the team had a bright idea, the same one that I don't like of course. She said that we had to stand up and clap out the music. Yeah that didn't really work because we were in a big clump, no one was clapping with us, and no one on the team knew what we were doing. We then performed our dance that we've been practicing. That did not go good. We got off at the beginning because we can never count wrong. Then I totally forgot the next part of the dance so I was in the wrong spot which resulted in getting my hand kicked and making my pom-pom fly pretty much all the way across the gym. And then came our last stunt...yeah my group didn't get it to go up which is not the best thing you want to happen because everyone just looks at you like you're stupid.

It was just a bad assembly...

Blog worthy happenings!

Well..the other day, Thursday to be exact, me and my best friend Athena hung out. And when we hang out, amazing things always tend to happen!

Let me give you some background information first. You see, me and Athena love to talk about very attractive boys. Well there just happens to be this new boy at our school that is very, very attractive(at least we think so). Well we always talk about how amazingly cute he is and that we really want to talk to him! Does that happen? Nope, never..soon though! I just know it :)

So anyway..after I dropped my sister off at gym me and Athena were famished! So we decided to go get some food at Wendy's. While I was pulling in, I looked in the windows like I always do when I go there. You know, just in case I see someone I know or cute boys. Well I looked in the window and what did I see? Not popcorn popping on the apricot tree..but this one very cute boy me and Athena always freak out about! What are the odds of that?? So she screamed and my heart was freaking out. As soon as I parked the car and turned it off, I looked at Athena and we both screamed cause we were freaking out so much. Well we calmed down, walked in, and just stared at this very cute boy. You might think that he would notice this staring we do, but we're so good at it that you wouldn't even know!

We then went to our school's musical, White Christmas. It was super good! Can I just say that James Harris has a very good voice and I could listen to that boy sing all day! And Bailee Killpack so be on Broadway because she's just absolutely amazing!

Swim

Can I just say that Canyon View has some pretty sexy swimmers?? haha. Maybe I should go to swim meets more often! :) That is all..

MLIA

Can I just tell you that I very much enjoy reading the epic stories on mylifeisaverage.com? But sometimes when I read them I get all sad and such because amazing moments like those don't seem to happen in my life. I guess you never know what crazy moments life will bring you!

So just some information about the website My Life Is Average. It's a site where people submit stories or amazing things that happened that day. Why is this possibly entertaining? (rhetorical question for all you AP English students out there) Well the answer to that is the sheer fact that they are the most epic happenings that could happen! And best of all...the people that posts things are non-Twilight fans, are all for Harry Potter, decide that Google is far better than Yahoo, and love Narnia.

Here are some stories I was reading today that brought a smile to my face and hopefully they will bring one to you too.

Last night, my parents told me that when my brother moves out I can knock down the wall between our two rooms and have one huge room. Since the connecting wall is the inside of my closet and the inside of his closet, I decided that I am just going to create a small pathway and then decorate his room with fake snow so that I can walk through my closet and all the coats into Narnia. MLIA.

Today, I went to the bathroom and went into the first stall. After I had closed the door and sat down, I noticed someone had written "Sorry, Chamber of Secrets is the next stall over". Now I know where to go next time. MLIA.

Today me and my friend were playing 'rock paper scissors.' I was about to make a wand and say 'Avada Kedavra' when she make a person out of her fingers and said 'Chuck Norris.' We still have no idea who won. MLIA.

Today, my friends and I found a book of fake tattoos. When I got home my mom looked at me and asked "Why is there a lightning bolt on your forehead?" and I simply replied "Oh, Voldemort stopped by." and went to my room. MLIA.

I hope these wonderful stories made your day :)

Thanksgiving

BRANDEN CAME HOME FROM COLLEGE FOR THANKSGIVING!!! :D

The end.

Hands

Why is holding hands such a great feeling? Why does it make your heart beat like crazy and cause you to smile nonstop? These are the questions everyone must ask when they hold someone's hand. Holding hands can be a sign of friendship or trust, but most people use it show their love for someone. I love this quote, "When you feel alone just look at the spaces between your fingers and remember, that's where mine fit perfectly." Reading this just makes me smile thinking of that one person who this pertains to. I think holding hands is one of the cutest things :) I can still remember him saying, "May I hold your hand?" I answered with a smile and he slipped his fingers in mine. It felt great to have another hand held by yours. You often hear those stories about two teenagers watching a movie together. Both of them are usually thinking the same thing...I wish he/she will hold my hand. Then they slowly inch together until one of them makes the brave move to grab the other person's hand. They both feel relieved that someone finally made the move. They don't pay attention to the movie at all really because during the beginning they think of holding hands and then at the end they can't stop thinking about holding hands. We all do it. Some of us are successful in this but many of us leave the movie wishing it would have happened when it didn't.

This is how I want to be when I get older. Holding hands with the one I love until the end because that would mean we're still in love after all those years and even though there would be hard times we would get passed them and love each other no matter what.

Talise

Talise Renae Mosley

I love you little sis :)

Today I realized just how much I love being your big sister. Even though we may have hard times and we just wanna punch each other in the face, I still love you deep, deep down.

I love our amazing inside jokes that make no sense whatsoever! Jeez ya cow! :) I love the fact that we had a whole conversation by whispering in each others ears and smacking each other on the arm just because we can. I love how amazingly talented you are in all that you do! I love the way you talk about all of your boy crushes and how I wish I was that outgoing with boys when I was your age. I love how we both cry during movies and then look at each other and laugh. I love rocking out to strange music when it's just me and you in the car. I love talking like cowboys when we drive down long roads. I love that we get dolled up together for Cinderella. I love when we make up really crazy and super strange dances together. I love the funny faces you make or the weird things you say to me. I love the way you can eat so much yet be super skinny no matter what. I love that we can talk about other people and agree on so many things. I love when we pretend to race people down the street. I love that we were able to go to girls camp together and make everyone see how we really are. I love that we make amazing gangsters. I love how you know when not to talk to me when I'm in a bad mood. I love that you make fun of me and boys. I love when we play dress up. I love when you make me smile.

As you can see, I really love you! :)

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1

Best.Movie.EVER! :)

So it was decided that me and my friends would go to the midnight showing of Harry Potter 7 :) to make things even better it was a school night so you can imagine how amazing it was to only get around 2 or 3 hours of sleep and then going to school in the morning.

About the week before the movie I'm pretty sure everyone would take their handy dandy pre-bought tickets from their wallets during the day to just look at them in awe. Psh..we weren't excited at all! Haha. The count down had begun! To make things even better was the fact that we quoted Harry Potter movies all week which led to the idea of getting matching t-shirts to wear to the movie. Each person chose a team and a quote their person said. My team was Team Fred and George and the quote was "I solemnly swear I'm up to no good." Unfortunately our shirts didn't make it on time to go wear to the movie but that's okay.

We all met at Charley's house for pizza and cookies before we had to go stand in the line for the movie. When we got the theater there weren't that many people there surprisingly. I'm pretty sure the people in the line either thought we were awesome or hated us because we played curses, yelled, and did the hokey pokey. It was super cold from the wind but we had blankets :) we were so happy they let us in the theater a few hours early so we didn't have to sit in the cold anymore.

The wait for the movie was awful! No fun..but we made it and enjoyed an amazingly wonderful movie :) even though we had to deal with some stupid people *cough* the guy in front of us *cough* If you haven't seen Harry Potter 7 yet, I would suggest going ASAP! It's super good :)

The next day I had cheer practice so I only got 2 hours of sleep. Joyous. Surprisingly I wasn't tired at all! But I came home and slept instead of going to 1st period. All of us wore pj's or sweats to school and it was great. I'm so glad I was able to go to the movie with all of my friends and that I was able to stay up even though it was a late night! :)

Sadies 2010 :)

Sadie Hawkins:
–noun
1.
Also called Sadie, Sadies. a party, dance, or other social event, esp. one held annually among high school or college students, to which each girl escorts the boy of her choice, or invites him to escort her.
2.
a day (Sadie Hawkins Day) or night, often in November, when such an event or events are held.

My first Sadies was yesterday and I had a blast! :) Let's start at the very beginning..

The question:
I asked Logan Braden with a box of Lucky Charms. I wrote a letter of my name on a marshmallow and mixed it around in the bag of cereal. Then I wrote a sweet note that said, "I'd be 'lucky' to go to Sadies with a 'charming' guy like you!" Creative huh? I think so. Haha. So Logan had to search through the cereal and marshmallows to figure out who it was. I had it given to him during second period where Shellise has that class with him so she could be my spy! She said that Michael just took it and dumped all the cereal out of the box in the middle of class. Logan, with the help of the boys from the class, finally found the letters and solved the mystery of who it was!

The answer:
I walk into AP English like any other day. While Mrs. Merrell was explaining what we were doing that day she simply grabbed a pumpkin, walked over to my desk, and set it down. I was super confused because nothing was written on it and it didn't have a note. Confusing isn't it? Well I didn't want it to be a distraction during class so I just put it on the corner of my desk and moved on with my life. When I had time I looked on the bottom and found out that it cut. I knew the secret of how to get it open! Well Landon just had to act like my pumpkin was his baby so he took it from me and wouldn't give it back but thankfully I got it back. I opened the pumpkin and looked inside. There was a folded piece of cardboard in it including all of the guts. Yummy! Haha. So I reached inside, took the note, read it, and smiled. It said, "Sorry about the mess. The answer is yes. -Logan" Cute right?

The sleep over:
So the night before Sadies me, Athena, Abbi, Shellise, Kat, and Courtney made our shirts. All of us slept over except for Shellise because she had to leave. We didn't know that the paint wouldn't come out the way we were thinking. It took forever! We stayed up until 1:00 a.m. finishing our shirts. Man we were super tired! In the morning we got waffles and eggs. They were delicious! Me and Athena went back to my house to get ready for the day.

The day date:
We met everyone at Arctic Circle and had ice cream and french fries :) After everyone got there and we socialized, we gave out the picture scavenger hunt lists and were on our way! Going around town and taking pictures with random things was pretty fun. Our group had a problem with not trying to finish fast. We did random things and took our sweet time. We even did 007 in the dollar store and got in trouble and almost got kicked out. Yeah that was interesting. We met the other group at Walmart and went over to Kat's house. We made pizza, played Rock band, listened to music, danced around, and got ready. We decided to go and take pictures at SUU because it was easier than doing them at the dance. After that we went to the old hospital to walk around it. The boys, however, didn't think that was enough. They wanted to go inside it and look around. Me and Athena were freaking out so we stood in the parking lot. When everyone was done we went to the sheep tunnel to walk through it. It was super cool and a little bit scary. When we were done, it was time for the dance!

The dance:
When we got to the dance there weren't that many people there and the rest of our group wasn't there yet. When our group got there we went on the dance floor and went crazy! We danced around and had a way fun time :) of course we had slow dances which were awkward, fun, and full of smiles :) During the dance, Logan wanted to talk to me. He wasn't having a very fun time so he suggested we go to his house and watch a movie together. I decided to go with him and we left the dance. We watched the Bourne Identity and drank really yummy juice. Haha. He took me back to the dance around midnight and I left full of smiles :) It was a wonderful night and I'm so happy I had a wonderful group and an amazing date!

Fall Concerts

So I know this isn't posted right after the concerts but I had a pretty busy week. Better late than never huh?

So the theme for our choir concert this year was culture songs from around the world. You know Mrs. Tawa and her themed concerts. ha :) Well Colla Voce sang Scarbrough Fair, two German Brahm songs, Pretty Little Horses, and Cover the World With Love. We sounded great! I love the feeling you get when you perform your music that you worked so hard on. If you've never had this feeling before, I suggest trying it :) We could have been a little bit louder but everyone makes mistakes.

I think the highlight of this concert was when all the choirs got together to perform Michael Jackson's Thriller! We even got to wear zombie costumes which I think just made the song even better! Each choir came on the stage, or in the aisles, dressed and walking like zombies. I hope that we scared some audience members. I think that it went by way too fast though because before I knew it, the song was over.

The next day was the orchestra Halloween concert. I was actually pretty excited for this concert! Since we got to dress up and I didn't want anyone to know what my actual Halloween costume was, I dressed up as a gangster with Ann Dee. We made some pretty great gangsters if I do say so myself :) We started the concert with The Hall of the Mountain King with a strobe light and everything! P.S. I don't like walking and playing the violin with a strobe light thanks.. The other pieces we played were; Autumn, A Little Bit of...Space...Time, Chorale in A Minor, Cruella De Vil, and March to the Scaffold. We sounded great even though some people chose to criticize us. Oh well..

Well the Fall concerts are over, bring on the Christmas music! :)

A day of rain

Thursday: A day full of friends, football, and rain.

Well I went to Kat's house to hang out with friends. Landon came over to get in the granny wagon and we were off! Well it turns out we got there before Athena and Anthony because Anthony is a slow poke! Well we were just sorta sitting in Kat's room and boy did Landon and Kat hit it off! They have so much in common and they're super good friends now. Who knew? Well Athena and Anthony finally came and guess what we did after that...we just sat there. Yep, sat there. But we talked which is almost as good as doing something crazy. Of course I didn't get to stay there for long because I had to get ready to cheer.

It was the last football game of the season and of course it was raining. Not just sprinkling, but pouring! And yes, we still had to cheer in it. So we had on our cheer uniforms, including the sleeves, our hoodies, and our cheer jackets. Even with all those layers we were still freezing and also scared that we were going to slip off our boxes! Good thing the rain stopped before half time so we didn't have to worry about it. Well after the football game was over we had to take our boxes back to the locker room and those Desert Hills boys are so nice they waited until we were done to go in the locker room! Thanks guys! :) But it was sad to see Bailee and Ashley crying! Poor seniors...at least we still have basketball season!

If I were a Rich MAn-fiddler on the roof

The day to relax

Today is Sunday, therefore, the day of church and relaxation :)

Well we had ward conference today in church which went great. It was a very inspiring day :) The talks in sacrament were wonderful even if some of them were just testimonies. Then we went to Sunday school which was very inspirational also. Let's just say that the whole church day was. We were combined as youth. That was probably one of my favorite lessons in church I've ever had. It was full of laughter and emotion. Logan Schmidt gave his testimony in which he cried. It was very powerful and brought the spirit to us. The teacher shared an amazing story with a great moral and even some funny parts :)

And now I'm listening to good ol' Broadway songs! I absolutely love Broadway! I'm glad I was given the opportunity to see a Broadway show in New York City a few years back. It was amazing! The song I hear while listening to the Broadway station that makes me laugh is Rich Man in the Fiddler on the Roof. A part of the song is posted on here so you can see just how wonderful it is! :) Enjoy!

Events on a Saturday

Today was a great day :) Full of fun and boredom at the same time! Wow...you can tell it's late and you're tired when you couldn't figure out how to spell the work boredom.

So today I went to the SUU homecoming parade. Gotta tell ya, I just love living in a college town! And not just for the fact it brings cute boys here...okay maybe that's my reason but still. I think it's a good one :) ha. Well I decided that the homecoming parade is probably one of the best parades our town has! Except when the college kids look at you and then just throw the candy to the little kids next to you and don't give you anything besides one little Tootsie Roll! :( It was bad news bears, let me tell ya...

A plus to my day was that I got to drive the granny wagon around town all day! My muscles are going to be amazing because of it! Gotta love driving a vehicle with no power steering.

This is what the granny wagon looks like. Pretty amazing isn't it? I think so! So I got to roll up everywhere in this singing to a Brooks and Dunn tape :)

Can I just say that I love Joann's? It's like heaven in there! I've been inspired to make many arts and crafts in my spare time because of that store. Now...to find the money to do all this.

So those were pretty much the highlights of my day because the rest of my day was where the boredom part came in. Great day? I think so!

The start of a blog

Well I decided to start a blog to share my life with people! Now let's see if I can remember to add new posts when exciting things happen! :)

I was actually inspired to start a blog by my friends Michelle and Amanda. I was just sitting on the computer and I remembered Michelle talking about her blog so I decided to check it out! I had so much fun reading her many life experiences and looking at her pictures. Her posts made me laugh and smile. Amanda also has a wonderful blog full of her amazing pictures. She is such a wonderful photographer and I'm just a wee bit jealous of her! She will go far with her skill. So thank you Michelle and Amanda for being my inspiration! :)

I had a very difficult time thinking of what to title my blog but then I decided to pick 'Tid Bits of Life' because that is something I would say and this blog is going to be about the wonderful and maybe not so wonderful things that happen in my life!

Live, Laugh, Love as it says on my blog is my life motto! It sums up my life perfectly and it's such a simple phrase! :)
