Engagement Pictures

Sorry for the post overload today but I just have so much to share that I probably should have shared before now but oh well.

So on Saturday, me and my fiance had our engagement pictures. We went down to St. George thinking it would be warmer there for pictures than it would be in Cedar. You could be wrong. It was FREEZING. It wasn't so bad when we first got there to take pictures, but then it started to be windy and the snow started falling. That's when it became awful. Thankfully, we were able to grin and bear it to get our pictures done and I'm glad we did because we got some cute pictures. I can't wait to get them edited so everyone can see them!

And the New Social Coordinator for Delta Psi Omega Is...

Me!

Oh man. I am so excited to hold a position in my sorority. And it's even better that it's social coordinator. That means I get to plan all the Thursday sistership activities. Don't worry, I've already thought of some ideas for things to do. They just kind of come to me at night when I'm about to sleep. I think I'm gonna have to get a notebook to write it all down.

I love my sorority so much so to be able to hold a position and be a part of everything in that way is such an honor. I can't wait to learn from this experience and to see where it takes me in the sorority, college, and life.

I'll keep you updated on how it all goes and what fun activities we do!

Frozen

So yesterday, me and my fiance went and saw Disney's Frozen. And oh my gosh. It was amazing! Not gonna lie, when I saw the previews for it, I thought it was going to be stupid and probably something I wouldn't want to go see. Boy was I wrong. It's probably on my top 5 Disney movie list. So, if you haven't seen it yet, I recommend going. It was sad, funny, and heartwarming. I already want to go see it again because I just loved it so much. That snowman though. He was the best part. Well I think so anyway. And what's even better about it is, not only is it a Disney movie, but it's a Disney PRINCESS movie! And I'm all about those Disney princesses.

Disney just keeps getting better and better. I'm so glad Walt Disney had the wonderful vision of starting Disney. I really don't know what I would do without it. Oh, and happy late birthday to the wonderful Walt Disney!

Hands?

So I posted a post back in like 2010 about holding hands with a guy and I can't remember for the life of me who it was about. This is going to bug me so much. You would think I would remember since I thought it was blog worthy but nope. I wish I could remember just because now I'm so curious as to who it could possibly be.

Maybe it will come to me in a dream or something.

It's the Last Day of the Semester. Say What?

Only one more class and I'm finally done with all my classes for the semester! Thank freaking goodness. This is such a hard part of the year because it's so hard to go to class and get things done because you are just so over it.

But of course since this is my last class, it's gonna go by super slow. I don't think I can handle that. I guess we'll see what happens.

And The Most Boring Class Award Goes To...

My psychology class!

So I come to class today thinking, "well it's the last class of the semester so I should probably go." That was the worst decision. But then again I HAD to come to class because we had an assignment to turn in. I hate when teachers do that.

But really though, this class is awful. Like don't get me wrong, the stuff we learn is interesting but the teacher just makes it super boring. I think the only people that actually pay attention are the people that sit in the front two rows. Everyone else just plays games on their phones.

Thank goodness this is the last day of this class. Hopefully I pass so I won't have to take it again. Wish me luck.

Tonight, tonight

Tonight was such a great night. Any night I get to spend with my fiancé is a great night though. Even if we're just sitting around or actually going somewhere, it's absolutely wonderful.

Tonight we did some errands just like grown ups do. We got some delicious drinks at Starbucks. (My fave.) And we even figured out exactly what to wear for our engagement pictures on Saturday. Yay!

Unfortunately, at the end of the night, I have to leave the warmth of his body and safety of his arms to go back to my own apartment to sleep and get up the next morning for school. That's the worst part of the night for sure. But our time will come when we can be together at night and never have to leave each other's side. (Well unless I have to pee or get hungry of course.)

It's Beginning to Look A LOT Like Christmas

Well now that Thanksgiving is officially over and it's December that could only mean one thing.

Christmas.

I really love Christmas so much! It's by far the best time of the whole year! It's just so magical. I started listening to Christmas music after Halloween was over because I just couldn't wait any longer. And I may or may not have been listening to it since. (I have.) Thankfully I only have about a week left until Christmas break.

One thing I'm super excited about for Christmas this year is that I have a special someone to share it with. That means many hot chocolate dates, driving around looking at Christmas lights, and giving each other Christmas presents. I got him the best present and I hope he just loves it. I'm sure he will.

Not only is it December and all the Christmas decorations are starting to come out but last night we got about 6 (maybe more) inches of snow! I love the way snow looks but I hate how cold and wet it is. But I guess I gotta deal with it because it's here and won't leave for awhile.

Happy Holidays!

March 8, 2014

What's so important about that date you may ask? That's the day that I will be marrying my best friend to be with forever.

Yes. You read that correctly. I'M GETTING MARRIED!!!

I am so overly excited. You really have no idea. I never thought that I would be getting married at such a young age but things happen for a reason and sometimes you just know that this is the right decision.

You're next question might be, "Who is the lucky (or maybe not so lucky) guy?" Well remember my post about the guy I was twitterpated about? If you're thinking it's him, then DING, DING, DING we have a winner! We were dating for 5 months when he popped the question. And yes, for some people 5 months might not seem long enough but when you know, you know. You know?
The ring :)

Aren't we just adorable?

I honestly can't wait until we finally get to say 'I do' but that's not for another 3 months. I'll keep you updated here and there about how everything is going and all that jazz.

Twitterpated. Part 2.

So you know how I posted about being twitterpated about a guy and what not. And in my last post I mentioned a boyfriend. Oops. Sorry to leave you guys hanging like that! I just forget sometimes.

So my boyfriend. Yep that's right. We're official. (it's even on Facebook so like duh)
I would go on and on about how great and perfect he is but really, who wants to hear about that? I personally hate when girls do that so I won't do it. Also, we've only been officially dating for a week so I would turn into 'that girl.' Y'all know what kind of girl I'm talking about so don't act like you don't.

Well I'll have more updates and what not about cute things we do or whatever. And maybe even some pictures. Ooohhh :)

But for now, I'm going to leave you guys hanging.

Boredom.

Have you ever been so bored you want to scream? Yeah, welcome to my life right now.
I am seriously so bored I can't even handle it. I guess this is what happens when you have no friends, your boyfriend has work all day, and you don't have a car or a job. If I have nothing to do, I seriously sit around in my apartment all day long. I can't deal with a whole summer like that. I think I would go crazy. I mean, I already had to do it for a little bit last year and that was the worst experience of my life. But if it happens this summer too, I'm gonna freak out.

End rant.

Twitterpated much?

Just look at that title. Take it all in. I'm twitterpated? Okay I'm not going to lie to you cause we have a great relationship and I tell you all kinds of things. Yes, I'm twitterpated. And no, that doesn't have to do with anything related to Twitter. Well actually it kind of does...hmm. Check it out!

So I had tweeted a question and this boy answered me and that's how we started talking so I guess you could say that Twitter was involved. Wouldn't be the first time I met a boy on Twitter. Awkward. So anyway, we talked and what not and yeah.

We've hung out the past few nights (even though I'm still kind of scared to hang out with boys alone) and it has been a blast! Even though we just sit and watch movies, it's still super fun! He likes to make fun of the movies and it's just super funny. He sure knows how to make me laugh :) hopefully I'll be able to fully trust him soon and tell him what happened.

Until next time!

P.S. Yes, we have kissed :)

I'm back. Part II

So remember that post I made forever and a day ago about being back to my blog? Well that didn't seem to really work but I'm back again for a second time and I'm hoping I can really get into this blog business. Besides, all Mormon girls need to have a blog right? ;)

Well the last time I posted was the very beginning of my senior year and boy has life changed! I would catch y'all up but I think that would take way too long and who wants to hear about all that anyway? But maybe I should mention the biggest things that have happened to me since the last post I made.

Here it goes:

  • Senior year started
  • Cheerleader
  • I was a part of the musical. We did Fiddler on the Roof and I was a mama :)
  • I was the vice president of Colla Voce
  • President with Richard in my seminary class!
  • Big help in Dance Company
  • Boys.
  • Region and state orchestra
  • Joining A Cappella
  • Region and state choir
  • Yearbook
  • Getting accepted to SUU and receiving a scholarship
  • Gold award in seminary
  • Seminary graduation
  • Canyon View graduation
  • Disneyland for grad night
  • Making top 5 at state
  • Family moving to Canada
  • Living with my grandma
  • Starting college
  • Turning 18
  • Different visits to Canada
  • Rushing and becoming a member of Delta Psi Omega
  • Family moving back
  • Ending my first year of college
  • The worst thing that could ever happen in my life.
And that pretty much leads us up to this very moment in time! If you want details about any of these events just give me a call and we'll go to lunch and talk about my life. Hopefully I can keep up with posting but maybe I can find a way to post from my phone. That would be very helpful.
